BEEP AI agent and API channel terms

beep.rent/en-pl/ai-agent-channel-terms/

Version 1.0. Effective from 24 October 2026.

These terms describe how artificial-intelligence assistants ("agents") and their developers may use the BEEP tools to search and book car rentals, and what rights and obligations customers have when they do. They supplement the BEEP terms of service and the privacy policy, which apply to everything these terms do not cover. The Polish version is the binding one.

§ 1. General

  1. The AI agent channel is provided by BEEP Rent Sp. z o.o., ul. 1 Maja 27/34, 58-500 Jelenia Góra, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 899-285-92-95, KRS 0000775578, e-mail agents@beep.rent ("BEEP").
  2. The AI agent channel is the set of tools served by the Model Context Protocol server at https://mcp.beep.rent (the "Tools"), used by agents acting on their users' instructions.
  3. The Tools are free of charge. BEEP charges customers nothing for an agent booking beyond the price shown on the BEEP Service.

§ 2. Definitions

  1. Agent — software, including an assistant based on a language model, that calls the Tools on the User's instruction.
  2. User — the person on whose instruction the Agent acts; towards BEEP and the Rental Company they are the customer.
  3. Platform operator — the entity providing the Agent to Users (for example an AI assistant provider).
  4. Agent developer — an entity integrating the Tools into its own Agent, including with an API Key.
  5. API Key — a confidential beep_ak_… identifier issued by BEEP to an Agent developer.
  6. BEEP Service — the beep.rent website with its search, booking process and confirmation pages.
  7. Rental Company — the business offering a vehicle on the BEEP Service; a party to the rental agreement.
  8. Reservation — an order for a vehicle rental placed by an Agent on behalf of the User.

§ 3. What the Tools do

  1. The Tools let an Agent search offers with the full price including selected extras, read an offer's conditions, prepare an order summary ("checkout"), place a Reservation, confirm it with the code the User received, check its status and — after access is proven with a code sent to the Reservation's e-mail address — cancel it or request an extension.
  2. Tool results reflect the BEEP Service at the time of the call. Prices and availability may change until a Reservation is placed; the Tools report any change of conditions before a Reservation is placed.
  3. BEEP takes due care to keep the Tools available but does not guarantee availability. BEEP may change the Tools, their names and parameters; changes relevant to Agent developers are announced at https://beep.rent/en-pl/ai-agents/.

§ 4. Rules of use

  1. An Agent acts only on the User's instruction and presents the offer's conditions — the total price, the deposit and the cancellation policy — before placing a Reservation.
  2. The User always confirms a Reservation: with the code received by SMS or e-mail, or by paying on the BEEP Service. An Agent must never generate, guess or bypass codes, and must never take the User's payment card details.
  3. An Agent passes the User's details (first name, last name, e-mail, phone) only with the User's knowledge and truthfully. The User accepts the BEEP terms of service and the Rental Company's general terms of rental.
  4. It is prohibited to collect BEEP Service data other than through the Tools (scraping), to place Reservations the User did not order, to circumvent call limits, to impersonate another entity or platform, and for an Agent developer or Platform operator to add charges to an offer's price without telling the User clearly.
  5. BEEP applies call limits and may temporarily limit or block access to the Tools, including revoking an API Key, if paragraphs 1–4 are breached or the security of the BEEP Service is at risk.

§ 5. Reservation and rental agreement

  1. A Reservation placed by an Agent is an order placed on behalf of the User under the BEEP terms of service. It must be confirmed by the User (§ 4(2)); an unconfirmed Reservation may expire after the time stated in the Tools' response.
  2. After confirmation the User receives the Reservation confirmation at the e-mail address given in the Reservation. Some Rental Companies confirm a Reservation as well; until they decide, its status is "awaiting the rental company".
  3. The User concludes the rental agreement with the Rental Company under its general terms of rental, linked in every offer. The deposit and charges payable at pickup are collected when the vehicle is handed over.
  4. The User may cancel a Reservation through an Agent, on the BEEP Service or by contacting BEEP. Amounts paid are refunded in full when cancelling at least 24 hours before pickup; after that they are not refunded. When the Rental Company refuses a Reservation, BEEP proposes an alternative offer and, if the User does not take it, refunds 100% of the amount paid.
  5. Under Article 38(1)(12) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act, a consumer has no right of withdrawal from a car rental service contract that specifies the date or period of the service. This does not limit cancellation under paragraph 4.

§ 6. API Keys and the programme for agent developers

  1. API Keys are issued by BEEP, including in the Publisher Programme panel. A key is confidential; the Agent developer protects it and reports a suspected leak to BEEP without delay.
  2. Reservations placed by an Agent with an API Key issued to a Publisher are attributed to that Publisher and settled under the Publisher Programme terms at the commission rate of the Publisher's links.
  3. BEEP may revoke an API Key for the reasons in § 4(5) or at the Agent developer's request.

§ 7. Liability

  1. The Platform operator or the Agent developer is responsible for the content of the Agent's answers, including how Tool results are presented to the User. BEEP is bound by the data returned by the Tools and by the Reservation confirmation sent to the User.
  2. BEEP is responsible for the correct operation of the Tools and for carrying out Reservations under the BEEP terms of service. Towards businesses, BEEP's liability for the use of the Tools is limited to actual damage. This does not limit consumers' rights.

§ 8. Complaints

Complaints about the Tools or a Reservation placed by an Agent can be sent to agents@beep.rent. BEEP handles them without delay, within 14 days at the latest, and replies to the sender's e-mail address.

§ 9. Personal data

Data processing in the AI agent channel is described in the AI agent channel privacy notice; the BEEP privacy policy applies otherwise.

§ 10. Final provisions

  1. BEEP may change these terms for important reasons (a change of law, a change of the Tools, security). A change applies from the date stated with the new version, no earlier than 7 days after its publication, and does not affect Reservations placed before.
  2. These terms are governed by Polish law. A consumer may use out-of-court complaint and redress procedures.
