What an agent can do

Searching and booking work without signing in; the assistant shows your own bookings once you give it the code sent to your booking e-mail (in ChatGPT, once you connect your BEEP.rent account). Each tool answers with live BEEP.rent data, so the assistant never guesses prices or availability.

Search and prices

search_offers
Finds available cars for a place and dates, with the full price, deposit and cancellation policy.
get_offer
Reprices an offer with the extras you pick and shows its conditions.
get_city_prices
Gives example prices in a city before you know your dates.
find_pickup_points
Finds pickup points near a city or an address.
resolve_booking_link
Opens an offer from a beep.rent link, e.g. from an e-mail or a campaign.

Booking

create_checkout
Freezes the offer's price and conditions and gives you a link to finish on beep.rent.
create_reservation
Books with the driver's details once you accepted the terms and the privacy policy.
confirm_reservation_code
Confirms the booking with the code you received by text or e-mail.
request_confirmation_code
Sends the confirmation code again.
get_reservation_status
Tells whether a booking is confirmed or waits for your code, a payment or the rental company.

Managing a booking

list_my_reservations
Shows your bookings after an e-mailed code or once you connect your BEEP.rent account.
start_reservation_management
E-mails an access code to the address on the booking.
verify_reservation_management
Unlocks the booking, or every booking of that address, with the code from that e-mail.
cancel_reservation
Cancels the booking — first shows the refund, then waits for your confirmation.
quote_extension
Prices a longer rental.
request_extension
Sends the extension request after you confirm it.

How to connect an assistant

For searching and booking the server needs no account and no key. Pick your assistant:

Claude (claude.ai and the apps)

  1. Click “Add to Claude” at the top of this page, or open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  2. Check that the address is https://mcp.beep.rent/mcp and choose “Sign in when needed” under Authentication: searching works without an account, and you sign in with an e-mail code for your own bookings. Keep the other defaults and add the connector. The Free plan allows one custom connector.
  3. Turn the BEEP connector on in a chat and ask for a car, e.g. “Find me a car in Kraków for the weekend”.

ChatGPT

  1. Open chatgpt.com/plugins and choose to add a custom MCP server.
  2. Enter https://mcp.beep.rent/chatgpt/mcp and choose OAuth authentication: searching works without an account, and you sign in with an e-mail code for your own bookings.
  3. In ChatGPT the agent searches and prepares the booking, and you finish it on beep.rent. Once your account is connected, it shows, cancels or extends your bookings.

Rules of the agent channel

You confirm
An agent cannot confirm a booking for you. You do it with the code from a text or an e-mail, or by paying on beep.rent.
Full price
Prices from the tools include the extras you picked. The deposit and the cancellation policy are in every offer.
Same prices
Booking through an agent costs the same as on beep.rent. There is no surcharge for using an assistant.
No card details
An agent never takes card details. You pay on beep.rent or at pickup.
Cancellation
Cancelling at least 24 hours before pickup refunds everything you paid.

MCP server
Streamable HTTP, stateless; current and earlier protocol revisions. ChatGPT version: /chatgpt/mcp (no codes and no booking in the chat).
Discovery files
/llms.txt, /.well-known/api-catalog and /.well-known/mcp/server-card.json.
MCP Registry
Server name rent.beep/car-rental, verified by a DNS record of beep.rent.
Limits
Call limits apply per IP address, platform or key, and per person (e-mail, phone). A rate_limited answer carries retry_after_seconds.

API key and commission
